ROCHESTER MANOR

The staff is wonderful they treat my mother well. My only issue is that they lock the door (understandable) but it takes quite some time for someone to be able to break away from what they are doing to let you in or out of the building.

Staff on long time are nice. The rooms need major update. Closet doors are broke, heaters are falling apart, furniture should have been replaced years ago.... not the cleanest place either... the rehab side is much much nicer!!!

Can’t say enough about the quality of care my mom gets at Rochester Manor (RM). She had a stroke last year and arrived at RM in the middle of COVID last January. This was such a difficult time but RM navigated through this time keeping residents safe! She has been there over a year now. First, the staff and admin were excellent with communication with me personally and also with group Zoom calls, updating family members on the latest changes, precautions, lifting of restriction, etc. through this pandemic. My mom has received wonderful care from the medical, PT and OT folks. Always respectful and engaging with my mom. The nursing staff to the food service, recreation, receptionist and other staff have all been very caring and professional. My mom has had her challenges after her stroke (unable to walk on her own and forgets that at times) but RM staff have made many accommodations to keep her safe. My mom is 93 and very happy at RM. Thank you for all you do for her!

The nursing staff and the Lna's that I have met, are very wonderful attentive! See the stuff they have to go through with some of the patients. But you only have one problem here your food sucks!! And I'm Chef!! But overall everything else is great

I was searching for a place for my brother to go to. I met with Kara who gave me a tour and answered all my questions. I noticed an activity board for the month and was reading all the things the residents could do if they choose to. They have a bus that takes them out to different restaurants that the residents can sign up to go. They have bingo and live music. I went back to this nursing home a few more times without them knowing I was coming to see if things were different but it was not. I was very impressed with this place and asked if I could get my brother in there. I kept in touch and finally got him in. My brother loves it there!!! The staff are.awesome!!!! They really care about everyone of the residents there. They have a table that a lot of the veterans sit at and they all welcomed my brother at the table even though he was not a veteran. They had a Christmas party today for the residents and the staff pick names to get a present for that resident. Also my brother says the food is good there. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is in need for a place to place their loved one. Thank you to all the staff!!!!❤️
