My husband is recovering from a motor vehicle accident and was transferred from the hospital to Complete Care at Fox Hill. Since he started, he is really benefitting from the great physical therapy program and the detailed and comprehensive nursing care and wound care that he has been receiving that includes guidance with the best medications to help someone who is recovering from an accident. We are grateful to have all of these essential services delivered to him by a very professional, knowledgeable and friendly team.
Would not recommend this place. My mother was there for rehab and could not get a response when hitting the button for help the first few days. Room was like an ice box and they claimed they were out of blankets. They often would not return when they said they would be back within a few minutes with something. Aid would put the food tray barely on the bed tray and then have the food fall over into the bed. Another time lost a medication after just a few days of taking it and had to order it again from the pharmacy and then had to wait on that. Many of the nurses and aid’s there had quite an attitude if you asked them something or when they came into the room. It seemed like it was just a job for a paycheck and didn’t really care to help people. Spoke to someone else who had stayed there recently and they felt like they were in a concentration camp. Would definitely look elsewhere.
This place is awful. The neglect I have witnessed of my mom and so many other patients is actually frightening how this place is still open. My mom needed surgery and they said they would take care of setting her appointments up and getting transportation. She was there for weeks and nothing was ever set up. This cause permanent issues to her injuries. They do not clean them or care for them in the slightest. Some nurses are amazing but it is very few of them. If you care about your loved one at all, do not allow them to come here. So many of the workers here are beyond rude and getting any information out of them is impossible. If your loved one can get around and do tasks on their own without help, then this place is somewhat decent but if they need any kind of care, do not bring them here.
My sincere gratitude to the staff. I must mention Mr. Joseph Campbell! Everything runs smoothly and professionally when he's "In the house." Mr Joseph Campbell cared for my husband as though he was his family. They really need to improve the food. Otherwise you can be confident your family member is in good hands. Foxhill gets 5 stars from our family. Thank you foxhill especially Mr Joseph Campbell. Sincerely, the Barbour family.
Not the Fox Hill 12 years ago thank God. Very pro active in their care. Even mantanice. My relatives wheelchair was not locking on one side. I couldn’t believe it someone showed up in less than 5 minutes. Where I worked it would have never been fixed. Staff is nice and appears very tentative and cares about people there. Staff actually listens to what you have to say and delivers. Not like the hospitals I have dealt with. My sister was missing something of hers in the laundry. No problem she received it back. Not complaining , but maybe one more activity for recreation. Thank you, Lydia
