My husband is there because i k ew the place had a good reputation from prior experience . He likes it there they always are eager to answer questions and offer any assistance the place is clean and doesnt smell . The staff are always helping some one my husband likes it there .he is currently in long term care getting his therapy to one day returning home . We are having a thanksgiving meal together as a family . Hes made friends there with other guests and he doing quite well he has a good support system there..
After months of being placed here, I finally got to visit my family member. Staff allowed us to be in a pretty nice visiting room all by ourselves. They were friendly and spent time on us. They allowed for me to dine with family. The food wasn't bad. Actually the blueberry buckle was some of the best I have had in a long time. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is that I can call often but rarely can get ahold of my family. Other facilities seemed to connect me more often. I suppose some of it could be a lack of staffing and maybe being a little behind with tech. Overall though they seem to make the best of what they have.
My brother David Tucker was placed here at the age of 57 in December 2023, Here I sit ,2 months later as my brother passed away. My family would call daily, only to be told ,we can't give u any updates. He was put on so many medications, as that is what took his life, it's heartbreaking to say the least , do not put your family members here. Do your own research on The LARA site and see for yourself the reports made against this facility,it's just awful and so sad, that you expect your loved ones to be taken care of ,from people like these ones .
Can't get them to get a Dr to look at mother they have sent a nurse but no Dr has actually stepped into her room. She's waited as long as an hour to go the bathroom. Most not all of the nursing staff and CNAs are rude and belittling.
I have a relative staying there full time, and when she hits the call button it takes the staff 15-20 minutes, maybe longer to answer it and actually help her. She is in bad condition and anything could happen in that time. I am very upset with the services there
