ARBOR VILLAGE

This facility is beautiful and every time I’m in here I see residents out and about doing activities and having a blast. Last time I was there they had a cookout and sno cones and popcorn while they got ready for a silly string war 🤣 it’s great seeing this type of environment in a long term and short term setting!

The staff here is excellent and they genuinely love their residents! I placed my mom at AV when i could no longer care for her. My mother was always smiling and happy when I would visit and she would light up when her nurse came to help her. She was always clean and well dressed. They always did a great job communicating with me about how my mother was progressing with Alzheimer’s and we would collaborate on the best care for her. No decisions were made without my consent. Very professional, loving and kind staff. They loved my mom until the end. I am forever grateful.

Arbor Village has the most caring, attentive, patient staff. My Mom was there for a few short months but I was so happy with the loving care she received. I've been in a lot of nursing homes due to the work I was involved in and the staff in this place is the best. I never heard a cross or impatient word from the staff. The nurses answered my questions, they called me when they were concerned and they returned my calls promptly when I left messages. We expected my Mom to hate it there but she didn't - she made friends and felt very safe there.

My mother is here, this place I could not say more great things about. They are always friendly, know everyone even family by name. They even allow her grand dog to come up and see her regularly, all the residents light up when they see a dog come through. Everyone in their care seems so happy. When mom first got there she was falling a lot, not listening and trying to walk when she no longer could safely. They have worked with her, communicated with us all along the way as to what may or may not work. This is a great place

I am currently a patient at this facility in need of skilled nursing. I am not a permanent resident here and yes they have those too here. Sense I have been here, especially the first day, I have been treated with respect and started feeling relaxed from when I entered the door. The HMFIC here Mr. Ernie, has an open door policy. There are some here I don’t get along with but still treated professionally. There are people here I have made friends with too. I can only hope that the friends I made here continue on. Your family WILL be treated with respect and kindness. if you come in here, it smells nice. If you smell someone who has relieved themselves away from restroom, you won’t smell it long. Especially, if you let someone know. From my understanding, there are actual times that they go and make sure people are not sitting or laying in their waste. I’m not the most eloquent speaker or writer, so I hope you understand at least what I’m trying to say. This is a good place for family to be treated as family.
