My grandmother had a recent short stay here. In the 6 months she was a resident she was treated very kindly. She had dementia and she was difficult at time but the staff always treated her with dignity and respect. As a healthcare profession who works in long term care, I have to say that ALL the staff do a great job. From the ED, nurses, CNAs, housekeeping, dietary, social worker, and activities, they all were top notch. My family knew grandma was in good hands when we were not there. Thank you for all that you do and continue to do for your residents.
Meadow View Health Services is certainly a place I would take my parents. The small skilled nursing facility is definitely one to impress. The staff members are so kind, and compassionate they always take time to go above and beyond what is expected. There is no place I would rather have take care of the ones I love.
Meadow View Health Services is a small facility, but that is just one of the things that makes it so great. Staff come to know the residents there like family, and interactions are personal and show a level of care that larger facilities can often lack. It's rare to find a place that feels so much like a home away from home, but Meadow View Health Services is just that. I would not hesitate to bring my family there if I have a need of it in the future.
We recently were forced to transfer our loved one from this facility after 1 week due to the neglect she was receiving. Our family is quite familiar with different nursing homes and understand that most are understaffed, sadly we realize that. However the lack of compassion and disregard was appalling. Finding our dear loved one repeatedly soiled for days without changing, leaving her meals across the room when she can't get to them, and her medication not given was disgraceful. It was elder neglect and abuse!
Meadow View Health Services is the most welcoming facility I've been to in the Sheboygan area. Staff is extremely polite and responsive! It's refreshing to see staff working for more than just a pay check. I wouldn't hesitate to bring my family here.
