My mother is a resident with your facility. The staff is freaking awesome!!!!! I have not met 1 staff member who wasnt friendly and helpful. The facility is extremely clean and that's impressive because I am a clean freak! My mom loves everyone there and honestly i haven't seen her laugh this much in years! I cant thank everyone enough for the kindness you have shown us during an extremely difficult time in our lives. I highly recommend this outstanding place!
As a patient, the nurse told me that all drinks beyond coffee, such as bottled water, sodas, other drinks, and juice must be provided by the patient's family. They will give you tap water in a cup, but they don't bring ice around to you. You can get dehydrated easily. The rooms desperately need updating, and are 1970 era small with two patients per room, and just a toilet/sink in the bathroom. The shower room is down the hall with 3 stalls with curtains . The food is bland, limited in choice, and portions are small. The staff is friendly and answer the bells when needed. I was told that my Medicare would end in about 3 weeks, and without backup insurance the cost would be $214/day, payable two weeks in advance. Considering the room size, food quality, basic bathroom, and family supplying anything beyond tap water and coffee, this is way overpriced. Do not send your loved ones here!
The staff greeted us immediately upon arrival and checked us in. They were helpful and friendly. Everyone was professional and knowledgeable. I was also impressed with the physical facility. It looked newly opened and all your needs could be addressed in one location. Excellent!!!
Friendly staff. Seems clean. I was not able to speak to the social services director as I had planned. I had not scheduled ahead. However, I drove 7 hours to visit my aunt and try to get some answers and was not able to speak with her. That was a little frustrating. I explained I only needed a 5 minute conversation.
If you care at all about the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of your loved one, DO NOT place them in this facility. The neglect and mistreatment here are beyond unacceptable, especially for residents who cannot speak up for themselves due to dementia or Alzheimer's. It is heartbreaking and disgraceful to see our parents and grandparents who deserve respect and compassion treated in such an inhumane way. This place should be ashamed of how it operates.
