Mother in law only been here for a few months and went to hospital this weekend (August 30, 2025) BROKEN RIBS, TEAR IN GUT AND INFECTED SCRATCH ON LEG!!! This place has lost her clothing and gives no care in the world about her needs She may have dementia but still human the unit she is in is nothing more than a cold ugly hospital room. Her meds are changed with her POA having no knowledge of it or that she was hurt as hospital said ribs were broken a few weeks ago and tear in gut is from some kind of extreme impact. Funny no pictures of it anywhere in the website photos. People, these patients have no way of telling you they are being abused here. DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE.
If I could leave negative stars, I would. The issues my family have experienced here seem right in line with all the other bad reviews. I would not recommend this place to anyone who cares about their loved ones.
My mother recently moved to Arbors from another facility. Very impressed! Staff is friendly and attentive. There were 5-6 staff members in mom’s section on my last visit which is great!
The staff is wonderful to my Mom. I live in Virginia and I am really at peace knowing she is being well taken care of. The staff also seems to have a nice relationship with my Sister who lives here. I visit regularly and the atmosphere always is pleasant at this facility. Everyone seems friendly as they say Hello or pass you in hallway always offering assistance to help you.
This is the worst nightmare I have ever experienced for my brother. I would not send a dog nor rodent here. There was 1 nurse to 2 halls with a full house. Patients sat or laid for hours. One evening dinner was served at 7:15pm hard potatoes called scalloped he had no teeth and pasta that was the worst, I asked for something else for him they took the potatoes off and sent the pasta I sent it back and asked for a can of soup they said they didn’t have any. His clothes disappeared and was finally returned and found in another hall. I went in one time and his mattress was totally off his bed never cheats on his bed nor did he sleep in his bed. He slept at the table or in the chair. Never a remote to use the Personal TV that was in his room that might’ve kept him in the bed if we could get it suitable to sheets to lay on. The floors were always sticky with urine. The whole places smelled of stench. The staff would lie and say he ate when there is no way he could’ve of because it was the same potatoes they served that evening at 7:15 that were hard like they weren’t cooked at all, I’m sure it was just to pacify any concern. So called Hospice was the most shocking of all, with other patients in his room screaming and yelling, along with having to chase down aids for safety & on staff nurse to administer medication The last days of his life the family stayed 24 hrs for 4 days had to set a alarm to wake the nurse to administer his medication that was gave to him hourly the Nurse and the aid was sleeping. And any issues that brought to be addressed for hospice was always there be back in to see him tomorrow. There was no Peace or comfort for my brother nor his family or comfort. He was there approximately 6-7 months fell and broke his hip and they offered no incident reports. I would never refer nor suggest to send anyone there. Prison would be better.
