My father came to Arbors at streetsboro and we couldn't have found a better place. The staff are terrific. They treat him with TLC all the way 100 per cent!! GOD bless everyone at Arbors for all they do for our Dad and the other people Who are there. The staff are definitely angels 😇 from heaven!!
My mother was at Arbor's for 2 weeks to rehab after being at UH Portage County for a week. The staff was always friendly, helpful and accommodating. However, there were 4 people that shined and made a lasting impression on my wife and me. Nonie and Dar will always be special because of the friendship and bond they have with my mom. Oliver is a great human being. Very polite and caring. Always visited and checked on my mom when we were there. TeShauna went above and beyond regarding paperwork between Arbor's and the hospital. She kept in contact with me regarding the paperwork. I witnessed her on the phone with the hospital and the other person wasn't being very friendly. She handled it LIKE A BOSS!!! I wouldn't have been so calm and professional. Lauren was friendly, upbeat, caring and very empathetic. She always communicated with my wife and I regarding information about my mom's medication and what the Nurse Practioner said. Monica was and is OUTSTANDING. To say she was great would be an understatement. She is very empathetic, kind hearted and compassionate. She kept in touch even when she wasn't at work. If I was the owner of Arbor's Streetsboro, I'd give them a raise before another facility does. Talented, caring and compassionate professional individuals...great human beings..are hard to find. We met 4 at Arbor's. THANK YOU!!!
I can’t say enough good things about the social worker Monica at the Arbors at Streetsboro. She has been incredibly supportive and compassionate during every interaction we’ve had with her. She takes the time to listen and explain everything very thoroughly and has went above and beyond for years to make sure residents and their families are comfortable and informed. Monica’s dedication has made so many tough times/situations easier by just being her! Monica is definitely an asset to the facility and company she works for!
In 1991 my mother was at this facility & unfortunately she died there so it was hard to return to visit my long-time friend. I found the home to be very friendly & the staff is anxious to help in any way. My friend who is there seemed content but did comment that the meals were “just okay”. I had no experience with the nursing staff, but one did help my friend who wanted some hand cream.
I would not put my worst enemy in that place. When I first rolled in there on a stretcher they denied me pain medication even though I was coming in an ambulance from the hospital and came with my meds and just had ankle surgery. I woke up one night with a nurse pulling on my broken ankle. She was trying to wake me up. The physical therapist there dropped me from a hoyer and I had a concussion. One week they served fish 3 times. There food was so salty had to order stuff from Walmart to be able to eat anything. There are no walk in closets. There are no immenity. It's a hole to stick your relatives. One night I heard someone crying in pain. They didn't do anything. The only good thing about this place was the aids. I can't complain about the aids. There is no high living in this place whatsoever. There's a nursing home in navaar that I recommend.
