Our facility is nestled on 15 acres in the historic Columbia Gorge with a beautiful panoramic view of the city, the Columbia River, The Dalles Dam, and majestic Mount Hood. Our core mission is to provide the state’s aged or disabled veterans with rehabilitative, residential, medical care and services in a home-like environment. We strive to acknowledges the tremendous sacrifice Oregon veterans have made and recognize them for their noble service to our nation. The Dalles Oregon Veterans Home can care for as many as 151 residents who need long-term care in a facility that provides skilled nursing, Alzheimer’s and dementia-related care, as well as inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative care to veterans, their spouses and parents who have lost a child to war-time service.
