I have been researching places about a tuff choice a son has to make about a parent. The staff was very carry and kind. They explained everything I needed to know and was very helpful. Over all cleanliness was top notch. Very supportive and informative. Definitely would recommend this facility to anyone in need.
In my family, we are grateful to all of the staff who attend to my sister, at the Hammond Whiting Care Center for listening to an initial complaint and gathering together to address the problem respectfully and compassionately with problem solving at its heart. Thank you for your continued care, and God Bless You All! 4.8
Residents are left alone, not checked on for hours, from what we saw. Rude staff sitting down gossiping, talking loud instead of checking on people and this place smells awful! Would hate if my loved one stayed here, visited with a friend whose mother is there. Would look elsewhere if in need of a nursing home for a family member.
On my behalf for my father, the facility has provided the attention and Physical therapy that surpasses other resort type facilities. From the nurses station to the physical therapy department, they always provided our family with updates and frank discussion to make important decisions. The physical therapy department are Performing miracles in my opinion to give a love one the ability to return to a normal sense of life and mobility. The facility may be small, but they provide a big impact of care and compassion. Hats off to the Hammond/ Whiting care facility. 5 Star!
I must say I am so happy to see all the care, all your staff and I mean all your staff gives. It is a big difference when someone loves their job ❤️ . Than just coming to work. I really enjoy coming to visit my mother and all the others DD is one special person the love she shows to all. It is extremely special when someone like that comes in to work on her day off to be with her residence. Visiting my mother and meeting all her friends he’s taught me a great sense of patience. Keep up all the great work.
