Sam, the administrator is making positive changes to improve the facility. The physical therapists are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Cynthia, the kitchen manager and Erin, the dietician are both to assist residents' dietary and concerns. There are major changes coming in early May which I am truly excited about. The nurses are extremely helpful especially Aja who goes beyond to answer any questions or concerns. The CNA's are very helpful especially Sarb, Erika, and Mary. The only concern I have is we need more CNAs here. All the office staff are extremely friendly and helpful especially Kristy who works in social services is extremely helpful and willing to talk.
I am horrified by the treatment my mother received at this facility. She spent two weeks in the hospital building her strength back and getting treated at Rideout, and within days of being admitted here her health declined. They did not take the proper precautions to keep her from falling out of bed, even though they knew explicitly that she was a fall risk. They were also supposed to be helping her with eating and drinking but left her for at least a full day without any food or liquids which resulted in severe dehydration. She was taken back to the hospital where they indicated that her dehydration is so severe it likely caused a seizure and potentially permanent brain damage. I will be looking into filing a formal complaint with the state. They shouldn't accept patients just because they have an open bed if the don't have the staff to properly care for them.
My elderly mother lives here . It's a good facility. Very clean and good attentive care is provided for my momma ❤️
Lovely event today! Patients and staff look happy & residents are well cared for! Great job team Bridgeview!
The staff is very kind and effective. Thanks to the team of the therapists, my mom was able to stand and walk after the stroke she had because of my dad's death. The food is ok. The nurses and the CNAs are very helpful and get back to you always on time. The only issue was the social worker who ignored our request for the discharge transportation and didn't order it on time, so they called to the transportation company the same day and made us to wait almost three hours. They were able to transport her safely home but the wait time was long. Hope this issue won't happen again. Still want to give a five star review to the team and the owner for helping to fix the issue with the transportation.
