Brookside Cartersville

Brookside Cartersville has been such a welcome change for our mom. The facility is clean, bright and cheery (lots of windows) and outdoor space for the residents. The staff from the Director (Lacy) to the med techs, care takers and cleaning crew and maintenance are so pleasant and take care to give the BEST care. Mom feels safe and very well cared for and the staff has been terrific about communicating with us. We have questions - they provide answers. I can't say enough. Would highly recommend this facility as they treat their residents with care and dignity. Thank you ALL!

This facility has been an excellent choice for our family. My father-in-law has been living there for several months. The staff members are both professional and compassionate, frequently checking on the residents to ensure their needs are addressed. The premises are well-maintained and clean. We have no complaints.

This is a great place for loved ones to stay. My mom has been there for over a year now. The staff are professional yet caring. They check on the residents often and make sure their needs are met. The facility is clean and in good repair. The food is closer to home cooking than institutional. With Covid-19 this has been a hard year but the residents have been kept safe and CDC guidelines followed. Any health problems have had appropriate attention with family called promptly.

Hi, Brookside is working out for my mom. After the first two places, I guess she is finding this one to be more friendly. The first one she was in, (Celebration Village), had clicks, and she would cry a lot, because they wouldn't let her play cards with them, and they wouldn't let her sit at the same dining room, tables, and all that. Then the SECOND place she was in, there was hardly anybody there, and everyone was kind of old and out of it and not social. Again, there was two card players there, but they wouldn't let her play with them. Plus my mom got hurt a couple of times and no procedural changes were made. It seems like the difference at Brookside is the friendliness of the residents and the extra attention provided by the workers. It is also affordable and even though the rent went up from the day I called to the day the lease was signed, they stuck with our original price quote. If they didn’t do that I would’ve had to re-direct the moving trucks because I already had them scheduled. The pharmacy used for their medication’s is easy to work with as well. The last place she was in was extremely complicated when it came to getting her her medications. My mom suffered a bad fall and broken ribs as a result of it taking a couple of months to fill out the paperwork and get it to the correct place for her meds to be given to her. Brookside, on the other hand, was quick, and she was receiving her medication the same day she moved in. The pharmacy they work with is outstanding. This is important for loved ones to get the care they need. It is kind of far from me, but I could no longer afford the places near my house. The accommodations are very nice. My mom is not from Georgia, I moved her here from Florida, so she didn’t have any friends here. That is why the friendliness and the extra care are so important. Thank you, Brookside.

I highly recommend Tranquility of Cartersville. My Dad was there and it was a relief and blessing to know that he laughed & had fun and knew they cared for him and met his needs when I couldn't anymore. It is clean, friendly and active. They have fun. Seeing smiles warms your heart. Food is delicious!!!! Personnel are kind and want to make sure a loved one is treated with dignity and respect. They listen and care to and for each one as if they were their own relative. You can see and feel the love and compassion that is Tranquility. It was Home.
