Arbor Terrace Glenview

My Mother, Eileen Sherman, is a resident at Arbor Terrace, Glenview, and there are so many wonderful and thoughtful staff that all have made the last year for her so very nice. We would like to recognize at this time and extend our heartfelt thank you to Roxanne Elster. Roxy offers a bright, thoughtful and compassionate mood. We observe time and time again how Roxy helps to make each day warm by encouraging interaction, by promoting inclusivity, and by helping when needed (or just by a smile and kind words). I have personally had the opportunity to visit Arbor Terrace Glenview many times in each week. All of the staff have impressed me, and they all deserve high praise. Today I highlight Roxy and recognize her for her actions and her efforts. Thank you for all that you do!

I'd like to extend my appreciation to several staff members that always go above and beyond for my Mom, Elsie. Louis, Lala, Jean, and Carla are the absolute best care takers anyone could ask for to look after their loved one. They anticipate the needs of those in their care, they respond quickly when called, they are patient and cheerful all the time and can be counted on each and every day. They have absolutely become an integral part of my mom's daily life. Also, I would like to thank Roxy for all she does in coordinating activities, but most of all for her wonderful and caring personality. She always has a kind word for everyone, she goes out of her way to include everyone in events and activities, and it feels as if she has become part of my family. I can always count on her to help keep my mom's sprits up and to make my mom feel the love she has to offer her. Roxy is absolutely the BEST..!! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

I am a resident of Arbor Terrace and have been living here for 3 1/2 years. I have been having a lot of fun. Many of the activities that Roxy coordinates are great!! She is wonderful and makes all of us very happy. Specifically I love her Karaoke and dancing along with the outings that she takes us on. I have also appreciated the care team. Specifically Gardenia , Joey, and Guillermo. All very caring and helpful. I also enjoy the receptionist Joyce. She takes the time to get to know all of the residents and their family members and she has become like family. She always has a smile on her face and makes everyone feel welcomed.

Awesome care for my mother!! Very attentive staff and supportive community of residents. I’m writing this while enjoying a tasty breakfast (server is Heidy - very kind and helpful) They have a full menu of breakfast options to choose from. I had scrambled eggs, hash browns and toast… perfectly prepared, neither salty nor greasy, just well prepared by a great staff.

With so many doubts and wondering if I was doing right by my mom with placing her in home, multiple associates made the transition easy. They now continue to make me believe I have given her the best, so I can give the best to my family. Lisa Gluck, always thinking outside the box and giving ideas on how to initially bring her to the home and always making in person meetings (with multiple associates) to calm my nerves. Guillermo Casa, always answering my why questions in a timely manner. Dawn Green, the one that keeps her busy and always laughing with all the fun activities and outings planned. I can't wait to meet and get to know many more associates that make Arbor Terrace Glenview a home that my mom can love.
