Commonwealth Senior Living at Hagerstown

We got there to see June Wagner during the chair exercise time. We joined the group and had fun with the residents. The leader was very supportive!

Commonwealth is an exemplary facility. My mother is happy, engages well with everyone on the unit, and loves the food. Her hygiene is good, and her room is always clean. It does my heart good, to see the *social butterfly" she has become on the unit. I'm so grateful to every staff members that lovingly cares for her. They know all the "little things" that make Mom....Mom😊....They are always so kind, even after the second or third telling of the same story. Thank you so much to everyone at Commonwealth, and have a Merry Christmas!

My father spent his final years with Alzheimer's there. I would give Commonwealth 6 stars with the max being 5. Throughout his time there he was so well cared for...particularly notable that he wasn't always that cooperative. The staff are amazing with their consistent compassion, patience and attention. Especially notable is the environment cultivated by the director and assistant director of Commonwealth that enabled such a consistent high level of care. And they both led by example. The activities director is a treasure for everyone there. He always went the extra mile to ensure the resident's were captivated with activities and that their family members are included in online publications. Directors and staff alike were truly generous and welcoming always to my mother who frequently visited (pre-covid) and called everyday since. During my father's final days...everyone there who touch the process was simply wonderful...from ensuring/insisting all necessary resources were in place to spending personal time during his waning hours. Truly admirable and certainly more than meaningful to we family members. Nice facility...but it's the Directors and Staff that make this Commonwealth facility a shining example of the right way to provide care to those in need. Doug.

Everyone has always been so friendly and helpful. Kelly and Gaby are amazing people and when my father was having issues during rehab at an outside facility they would still take the time to talk to me and comfort me. Now he is back and doing really well at Commonwealth.

Today was the first time I've ever been there to visit my uncle Scott everyone was super nice to me and very helpful, I even got asked if I wanted to do a activity with them, I definitely recommend having your loved ones here they have been excellent with My Uncle thank you guys for everything you do for the residents
