There are some fabulous employees at Seaton. The first person you’re likely to meet is Casey. She works at the front desk. If there was ever someone you’d want representing your facility, it’s Casey. She has a sweet, upbeat personality and can be seen helping out any time and any where it’s needed. The residents know this about her and seek her out. I’ve observed her assisting in the dining room, delivering mail, reading the cards residents have received to them when they aren’t able to do so themselves, she even assisted a newer employee by showing how my dear friend preferred to be dressed/changed. I’m not sure that there’s anything she doesn’t pitch in and help with. Casey is a top notch brand ambassador. Seaton would be wise to do whatever it takes to keep her there until she retires. Thankfully, she’s young! Signed, Lisa Walker
I came in to visit at Seaton today and what I noticed and have noticed each time I have come in is that Casey who sits at the front welcomes you with a smile and goes out of her way to help. The management and care staff is kind, compassionate, and truly caring. The community is warm and welcoming, with plenty of activities and always seems like a lot of fun. What really stands out, is the way the staff treats each resident like family. They take the time to get to know them. It's clear that they genuinely care about each resident's well-being and happiness.
Seaton Hagerstown is a great place to be! The management team are great leaders and interact well with the staff and residents. The staff are very caring and attentive to our residents. As part of the management team, being the Director of Health and Wellness, I would recommend Seaton to anyone looking to place a loved one. The residents are well cared for, the place is clean, the food is delicious, the residents are engaged in activities, and the staff are very friendly giving it a home-like feeling.
Making the decision to place my father in an assisted living facility was not an easy one. But finding the "right place" gave me so much peace of mind. My father went from living alone for over 50 years to being in a community of peers. He adjusted very well, but I credit this mostly to the amazing staff at Seaton. They truly do care about the residents. My father loves every single staff person he comes into contact with on a daily basis. I thought, for sure, I would have to iron out some issues that would surely arise ... but I have to honestly say, the entire experience has been very positive. I have the peace of mind knowing that he is well-cared for, and truly valued as a resident at Seaton. I am so very appreciative of staff members Deanna, Rosie, Heather, John, Jan, Lisa, Michael, Casey ... and the many medical aids (especially Jerica, Michelle, Cory, Brittany) who make Seaton an awesome place for my father to live.
There is no place like home — except for Seaton. 🤪 My grandfather has been living here for quite a while, and loves it (my whole family does). I think that happy residents can speak VOLUMES about an establishment. Leaving the house that he had lived in his entire life was definitely difficult for my grandfather, but Seaton is too wonderful not to love. I don’t know where to begin. My Pappy has the privacy of his own room (which is beautiful and spacious), but never has to be lonely because there are so many places to go and socialize throughout the building and outside. -All of the staff are kind, friendly, and truly care about their residents. I have NEVER seen a grumpy staff member at this place, which is saying a lot. I’ve been into countless establishments such as this, and the workers are typically miserable and rude. -The establishment is clean, well-kept, safe, and always decorated beautifully. I can’t tell you how important walking into a fresh-smelling room is to me. Seaton NEVER reeks of urine or feces like most homes for elderly folks do. -There are a variety of healthy (and delicious) food items on the menu for the residents. -Mike is THE BEST event coordinator you could ever imagine. He certainly thrives at his job. He comes up with the best activities, parties, themes, etc. They have several things going on each day! I’m glad he chooses to stay here because he could make it big one day. His creativity is beyond impressive. -The residents are happy and enjoy the company of one another and the company of the staff members. I chalk this up to Deanna who makes sure that everyone gets along and no one is unruly or out-of-hand. This lady is AMAZING in every way of the word. She is beautiful on the inside and out. She sees to it that each resident has the luxury and peace-of-mind they deserve. -They collaborate with Birth To Five and host an adorable interactive story time for toddlers/residents. My mom takes my son! -My son’s best friend is Kenny, one of the residents in the building. He enjoys seeing him more than he enjoys seeing his own great-grandfather. It’s so refreshing to go to a place where everyone knows, loves, oohs, and ahhh’s over your kiddo. I’m sure I’m missing things, but the bottom line is that this place is FABULOUS!
