American House Oak Park

My 90 year old father lived here in assisted living for almost a year. Because I live overseas, I had to trust placing him here without visiting or meeting anyone. And after his time there, I have zero regrets in my decision. My father was healthy and happy and everyone I dealt with was warm, professional and did all that they could to look after him with care and respect. They were responsive to my requests, which were probably exceptionally numerous given my distance - yet they never made me feel like I was a burden. Many thanks to you all, especially Maryanne, Briana and Joyce.

Maryanne was great every step of the way through a difficult time. Place is great staff so helpful, beautiful place food is good , and everyone has been very loving and great care for my dad. Whatever we needed Maryanne has helped and walked us through all of it . Grateful

We selected American House for my mother and could not be happier. The staff and community are so friendly and welcoming and the facilities are top notch. My mom enjoys dancing in the hallways with the nurses.

After a tour of the facilities at American House Oak Park, I was very impressed. The entrance was welcoming, the building was well-maintained and comfortable. Interactions with all the staff were very friendly. Maryann Pappone was very understanding, helpful and knowledgeable. This is a great place and should be an option if you are considering a senior living community.

From the moment I stepped into the American House Senior Living Community in Oak Park, they welcome me/us as part of thier community. Truly everyone played a part in making us feel like family. I would definitely recommend anyone seeking Senior Living of any kind to give them a call! Mary Ann P. and Paul Z were all very knowledgeable. We had a few extra minutes to dine at thier rooftop bistro and the view alone gives it a 10/10! You can view the beautiful city of Oak Park and a bonus view is the amazing City of Chicago Skyline view. I tried thier chicken and waffles and everything was so delicious and full of flavor, Chef James H. and his team deserves a big round of applause! The hospitality of Bestsy was much appreciated as well. If you have time to tour this facility- I wholeheartedly encourage you to do so, you will be in good hands. Even if you need a beautiful place to host/cater a gathering or special event, give them a call- they may be able to assist you in that regard as well. Me and my colleague really appreciate the friendliness and professionalism of thier entire staff.
