"As am EMT that works for Vital EMS, I constantly transport patients to the hospital and back home to their homes. I have been to pleasant acres a handful of times but this last time I will never forget. My co-worker and myself transported a male back to this facility after a hospital stay and when we got there no one would answer the door. We knocked on all doors for 20 minutes and called a few times but no one would answer. Then all of a sudden a male resident comes and opened the door. He told us that the worker there was most likely sleeping upstairs on the couch. Which he was not making up because I assure you that's where we found the male employee. This facility should not allow employees to sleep during their shifts when they have 14 people to take care of all by themselves. "

"Horrible Owner and horrible Manager! My mother lived at this facility for a few months and was kicked out for having an alcohol problem that the manager Deborah was help supporting. She would take her to the liquor store to buy nips when she would take her to the craft store. Then got her kicked out to save her own. Carol should know these things and who she puts in charge of her rest home. "

"This place is a total disgrace from the moment we walked in . The parking is for maybe four cars. The place smelled, the front parlor we were greeted with a man in soiled pants with feces all over himself. We looked for a helper or Cna or someone no one around at all . I woman said the owner is next door in her apartment. Who is in charge of this place ???? Why is this place allowed to operate like this . Naturally we just left . Who in their right mind would put anyone here. So sad. "

"We are looking at getting my family member out of this place as soon as we find one that can manage her . I took her out for a ride and lunch she told me how bad the place is the food, the dirty bathrooms that residents leave a mess, feces all over the floor and toliet, so disgusting. They are short on help one person on the shift expected to do everything. The home is a mess, they were working on the roof that leaks, the stairs on the side are falling down, the smoking area is too close to the tiny house, it is really not right. The owner is not involved never returns call and the manager is nice but can’t handle these people all by herself. We hope to get in Cresent Manor that does a much better job according to people we have called."

"Went to visit a cousin of ours recently and could not believe how far down her living arrangements have gone. She used to live in a beautiful place not sure what happened but to end up in this place is just so sad. I couldn’t believe how people were squeezed into this home. Everyone was on top of each other when I was there with a friend. It was extremely difficult to understand how they deal with mentally retarded , and Demented people in such close quarters. The yard was a disgrace with trash all over the front from the road and residents throwing it on the side with cigarettes everywhere. I plan on speaking with my cousins family they need to get her out and find a better place than this it’s not that we cannot afford something better. The staff was doing there best but I could tell they weren’t happy at all. Who would be ? "

"I am so sick of this owner Carol Cheli bad mouthing me after I worked there and put up with her ridiculous attitude, she is an expert at everything but knows nothing really sort of a con artist, frankly she is either losing it or is unfortunately got early dementia. This rest home is overwhelming with mental illness and she knows it. She used Emily the old manager who had a drug issues and other problems to say the least. I finally got a chance to vent here and tell my side. I think most people could see that this place is just too small and no matter what you do the odors are always there. The people living here are lost from their families or no friends, no one to visit them. It’s a very depressing atmosphere. It is a good thing I got fired. I got a new job and a fresh start with a nursing home that actually cares."

"This place is just too small. It’s a group home . There is no yard area ,smoke smells up the first floor. It’s smack on the road . Cars whipping by, no level area to walk around. I spoke with someone about the place on the phone, they seemed so busy that they had no time for questions. It’s been eyeing opening looking at these places. Not for us. We are going back to discharge planner at the hospital for some other advice. We were rushed through the entire process. They should know what they are recommending ."

"Unfortunately this was not good . I would only say please do your homework, I was so disappointed in this facility and it’s management. Emily tried to do an impossible job with a owner who was never here. I over heard her sarcasm and rude remarks to the manager more than once. Something was really wrong here. I am inside many nursing homes and rest homes for my work with a home care company. Save yourself the aggravation do not work here or refer any one here it’s a dump."

"This is not pleasant at all, this was a huge mistake for our mother and I would encourage you to tour yourself it’s a very small house 14 mentally ill residents who need help. It was so sad for her to be here totally wrong setting. The smoking porch was next to her room. The bathrooms were horrible. It makes one wonder how anyone would willing put a loved one here. I soon learned from many in the Worcester area that all Worcester resthomes are rather very sad places inside and out. We found a beautiful alternative and please tour, ask questions don’t rush like this is it. We were also told the owner is never there and the place just gets what it gets."
