Visiting Angels of Tacoma

This was my first time using visiting angels for my mom following a recent medical issue and I didn't know where to turn at the last minute. Visiting Angels was kind, communicative and followed up which meant a lot to me because I was too fried and frazzled to follow up after the initial call. Sarah was willing to meet my mom in the hospital to discuss the services and give her all the information and then came with the caregiver herself. Anita on the first visit. My mom was very nervous having a stranger in the home but we had no choice because our family is scattered and we live in a rural area, And many contacts have been lost over the last few years due to people moving out of state. Visiting Angels exceeded my expectations with kind, professional and courteous service. I know Anita is in fact amazing because my mom does not openly trust many people to cook for her or help her bathe whatsoever. My mom had nothing but nice things to say about her. I immediately felt comfortable meeting her And leaving her with my mom. Plus the dinner she made for my mom was way better than what I could have done! She just made my mom feel at ease even when it came to Private matters that my mom is still needing help with during her recovery and need his kindness. Just overwhelms and makes you feel comfortable. I could have just had her stay forever when I came back. It's like I didn't want her to leave. She just felt like she was already a part of the family. Genuine love and concern and very attentive. Whoever gets to work with Sarah and coordinating any type of care even if you're overwhelmed, frazzled and at your Wit's end, She will be your calm in the storm and be patient. She won't over bother you yet she won't under bother you. She knows how to read the room even through the phone. Anyone who gets Anita is in for a treat and look at her bracelets. They're absolutely fun and stunning. I always heard that people can get attached to their caregivers and don't like it when they change or move on and I never really understood that until now.

We LOVE Visiting Angels! The staff is so caring and considerate. They provide me a break from caring for my parents full-time, enabling me to recharge my own batteries. Emily, moms caregiver, treats mom with kindness and respect. She's absolutely wonderful. If you're looking for a break or more comprehensive assistance, I highly recommend Visiting Angels!

We hired Rose for our parents and were not disappointed. As soon as i saw her face and beautiful smile, i knew we has the right fit. She is so kind and took such great care of mom and dad, we wished for her to continue for b bit more in there new assisted living apartment, but alas it is not permited. We all miss her very much, especially mom Peg. Thank you Thank you for being so kind and loving. Rose you are a gem.

Marian runs the HCA training program for caregivers at Visiting Angels. She's a true angel in my eyes. She's very professional, thorough, and truly passionate about passing on her caring spirit.
