"My mother passed in august of 2022 at the age of 97. I had been taking care of her for many years with the help of occasional caregivers when we had to travel. Her Doctor had recommended hospice few years prior due to her concern for my health but I thought it was to soon and I wasn’t ready. As time passed, and my mom became weaker, I decided to follow the Dr’s recommendation, Grateful Hospice! What a blessing! Not only were they very professional but they were also, loving and caring. The RN, Lindsay, made sure that my mom had all the necessary equipments, supplies for her daily care , and medications. she was magnificent! I will never forget her! She was always so kind and gentle when taking care of my mom’s wounds or helping with a diaper change. She would always take some time after each visit to discuss her findings and recommendations. Social service was wonderful too, offering services that at the time I felt I didn’t need but gave me peace because I knew it was there. The Chaplin, Hope, was glorious , she spent time with my mom when she was doing well and during her last hours, she got to know her and would wear bright colors because she knew my mom loved colors. She also provided council and support to me and my family. My mom loved music and Claudia, the bather, would play music and sing during her bath which made my mom very happy.. The receptionist, everybody involved were fantastic! They even offered emotional support to the family if needed after my mom’s passing. I will highly recommend Grateful Palliative Care And Hospice!"
