Our staff not only provides comfort care and helps with pain and symptom management for our patients, but they also help families make precious memories together. We’ve helped patients go on trips to visit family members, have a beautiful day of fishing at a local fishing hole, and even pilot a plane! Our staff and volunteers honor the Veterans we serve with a special ceremony. We’ve even helped make a patient’s final wish come true as he married his fiancé at our in-patient facility, the Heartford House. HPC - Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky’s staff also works to educate families about keeping their loved ones comfortable at home, and we walk with families through the grieving process.
