Caregiver Job Description
Thank you for your interest in joining our team of amazing senior caregivers. We take a true team approach in our community. We share duties, caregiving and med tech, so we train and mentor those who are newer to the industry and welcome those who have a wealth of experience to share! We also take a team approach to the schedule and all of us work at least one weekend day so that we can share work/life balance across the team. We have some flexibility and options for working 12 and 8 hour shifts: 6a-6p, 6a-2p, 2p-10p, 6p-6a, 10p-6a. We are currently hiring for overnight shifts 10p-6a (F-S-S-M) or (S-Th) and for evening shifts 2-10p (M-T-W). We also have a limited number of daytime shifts available. We train for overnight shift during day/evening hours so you get to know the residents you'll be working with while they're awake. Our goal in training is to give you the tools and information you need to meet your goal to be the best caregiver possible. We love working with staff who are interested in advancing in the medical industry and have a passion for the elderly population in particular. 10p-6a (NOC) shift starts with a team pass down and controlled medication counts for the Med Techs. It moves straight into the safety, vitals and toileting checks for those residents on the schedule that continues throughout the shift. Between there are laundry duties and light housekeeping (vacuuming, sanitizing, moping). There is some medication assistance on NOC, but not very much. Sleeping on shift is not permitted. Knowledge of safety protocols and documentation of resident concerns are vitally important. What you do on NOC shift sets the team and residents up for a successful day. We want the very best self motivated and empowered care staff for our team. If this sounds appealing to you, please submit your interest today!
