As a dedicated CAREGiver, you can help families restore balance, order, and peace to their lives and help their senior loved ones remain at home. Home Instead CAREGivers provide a variety of non-medical services including companionship, home helper services, and personal care Home Instead CAREGiver's benefit from initial and on-going job training, personalized scheduling, and the opportunity to meet new people and develop meaningful relationships. This is what our clients need: Companionship and conversation Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation Medication and appointment reminders Assistance with grooming and bathing Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues Transportation for Doctor appointments and errands Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care (Training Provided) *Experience preferred, but not required - skills training provided by Home Instead* Requirements to be a CAREGiver: Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect Ability to pass a drug screen, motor vehicle, and background check. Be a good and patient listener in a friendly and polite manner. Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance. Possess your own, reliable vehicle to use during shifts.
