Caregiver Job Description
Our agency is looking to hire dedicated individuals interested in being companions for individuals with disabilities, to be a mentor and teach life skills. Many of our individuals have jobs, may be on their own for the first time and need assistance learning the day-to-day life skills, like budgeting, grocery shopping etc. Many of our individuals are looking for friendships and companions to accompany them to the movies, bowling, the zoo, nail salon etc. Some may want to learn how to cook or have a person to do crafts with. Must be 18 or older, have a high school diploma or GED, Driver's license, auto insurance coverage, and a current first aide cpr certifcation (training we can provide for $35.00) Must be dependable, friendly and caring. Same day application and orientation to be set up when calling the office. Main benefit of this job is you choose your clients and can schedule yourself. Hourly pay with admission paid when needed and mileage. Want off for a holiday? No problem. Want your birthday off? No problem. Want off to do something with family? No problem!
