Basic Employment Qualifications + Must be 18 or over to apply + Must be willing to complete DOJ and CDPH background checks and pass to their standards + Must be willing to complete physical examination with TB testing + Must be fully vaccinated and boosted against Covid-19 Openings Available + Full-Time, Part-Time + Afternoon/ Evening/ Morning Shifts. Overnights + Weekend, and On-Call Shifts also available DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL/ PROGRAM INSTRUCTOR Qualifications: Experience in a direct care position for dependent adults preferred, but willing to train motivated applicants. Responsibilities: +Learn and follow each resident's training plan, behavior plan, data collection procedures, schedules, diet plans, medical plan, etc. +"Direct care" of clients as needed, including grooming, dressing, feeding, shopping, laundry, etc. . . ., allowing clients to do as much as possible for themselves in these areas. + Administer prescribed medications and treatments per each resident's physician's orders. +Provide training to clients, using guidelines in clients' individual service plans. +Complete necessary documentation as events occur, including visitor log, training data, behavior data, toileting, activity log, etc. +Notify supervisor and nurse immediately of any medical condition or injury, major or minor, and take emergency measures in case of serious injury, including the administration of first aid and CPR. +Cooking meals for residents with their participation whenever possible. +Keeping the facility in good condition, including cleaning with involvement of clients. +Familiarity with clients' rights, company's policies and procedures, personnel policies and procedures, and licensing regulations that affect your performance. +Report for work according to your assigned schedule. +Attend monthly in-service trainings. +Complete fire and disaster drills as assigned. +Other duties as assigned by supervisors.
