Caregiver Job Description
Right Choice Caregiving is looking to expand our caregiver team! We are revamping and expanding our client base and we need you to help us grow into the greatest home care company in the San Fernando Valley.
Our caregivers are our backbone and we want to bring on individuals that are looking to provide the highest quality of care and take pride in the rewarding field that is caregiving. We understand that it takes an amazing type of person to provide caregiving for those in need and we want you on our team!
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with Personal Care, i.e. Bathing, dressing, grooming, restroom assistance.
- Provide stand by assistance and assistance with transfers for Fall Risk clients.
- Assist clients with Light Housekeeping, i.e. Dusting, doing the dishes, laundry, etc.
- Assist clients with all stages of Meal Preparation
- Provide clients with Medication Reminders, assure that medications are taken at the appropriate times and dosages.
- Assist clients with Transportation and Escorting to Dr's appointments and errands
- Be an engaging companion for our clients, whether it is playing a game or reading a book
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional caregiving experience OR CNA graduate OR current LVN student
- 2 + professional caregiving references
- Registered Home Care Aid (HCA)
- Recent Tuberculosis Test or Chest X-Ray
- Recent Physical Exam
- I-9 compliant documents (U.S. passport, permanent resident card, state issued driver's license, social security care, etc.)
