Caregiver Job Description
Care That Matters is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide in-home assistance for a client requiring personal care and mobility support.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Rotating Weekends:
9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Responsibilities:
Assist client with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Safely transfer and reposition client using a Hoyer lift
Provide personal care, including toileting, grooming, and hygiene assistance
Monitor and report changes in client condition
Offer companionship and support in a respectful, patient-centered manner
Maintain a clean and safe care environment
Follow all care plans and agency policies
Requirements:
Experience providing hands-on personal care preferred
Experience using a Hoyer lift or willingness to be trained
Dementia care experience preferred; dementia training required
Ability to work independently and follow care instructions
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
Comfortable working in a home with pets/animals
Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
Qualifications:
Home Health Aide, CNA, Caregiver, or related experience preferred
Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor
Ability to safely assist with transfers and mobility needs
