Family Care Solutions Caregiver Job Description: Providing personal care services in patients’ residences Performing domestic and light household tasks Transporting and accompanying patients to medical appointments, shopping, or hospital Remind clients to take their prescribed medications. Assist with client’s personal care activities. Maintain patient care records and document provided services. Assist patients with mobility, physical and art therapies/exercises. Meal planning and prepping Bathing and help dressing the client. Assist with personal care and hygiene. Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support. Requirements and skills Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (1 year minimum) Ability to monitor vital signs. Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards Caring and compassionate personality Current CPR certificate and First Aid training Annual TB test Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day Able to pass all background/health screenings (Abuse Registry, Criminal Background, Motor Vehicle Background Check, TB Screening, Fingerprint Background, etc.) Maintain annual education and background requirements.
