Open Caregiver Positions - Flexible Scheduling

We are looking for a professional and compassionate caregiver to join our growing team! Whoo's Caring is a licensed agency, providing the highest quality of care to clients in the Chicagoland area. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills, and have a passion to serve the senior population. Responsibilities: Assist/remind client to take prescribed medication(s) Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.) Assist clients with personal care and hygiene. Includes bathing and grooming. Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able) Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own Be a pleasant and supportive companion Report any unusual incidents Act quickly and responsibly in case of emergency Skills: Proven experience as a caregiver Minimum 2-years' experience Compassionate and motivated to work with seniors and their families Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR) Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards Respectful and compassionate Good time management skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Strong ethics Physical endurance High school diploma or equivalent Job Type: Part-time to Full-time Pay: From $17.00-$19.00 per hour Flexible schedules Mileage reimbursement Paid training Referral program - $100 for 100 Benefits (for eligible full-time employees): 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Shift availability: Day Shift Night Shift Overnight Shift Live-In
