Caregiver Job Description
Essential Functions ▪Assists the Activity Coordinator in the planning, development, and implementation ofactivities/programs which enrich the lives of the residents. ▪Develop and lead small, medium and large group activities. ▪Contribute to residents’ care planning: assessments, care plan goals and approaches, and progressnotes. ▪Assist with documentation. ▪Conduct one-to-one programs. ▪Assist with field trips and outings, which may require the operation of a company vehicle. ▪Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications Education ▪High School Diploma or GED ▪Current CPR and First Aid Certificates ▪Current driver’s license (must be 21 years of age due to CCMSD insurance policy stipulations) ▪WY CNA License Experience ▪Previous experience in a long term care setting preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities ▪Excellent patient care skills. ▪Professional and discrete manner at all times. ▪Ability to communicate effectively and verbally as well as the ability to follow verbal and written instructions. ▪Ability to work independently and with supervision. ▪Good driving record and ability to drive safely in various weather conditions. Hours of Work 4 10's and every other weekend
