Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Job Description
Glen Park at Glendale - Boynton St. is now looking for someone to join our team as a medication technician caregiver role!

Assist with the basic needs of an RCFE (Residential Care Facility for the Elderly).
Provide ethical and respectful care to residents.
Administer medication to residents by Title 22 regulations of the California Administrative Code.
Order and reorder medication for residents, following explicit physician instructions.
Monitor the resident’s medication administration records and report any errors to the Lead Medication Technician and/or Administrator.
Progressive documentation and communication with the physician and /or medical professionals.
Scheduling of resident doctor’s appointments.
Ensure that residents stay stress-free as much as possible by working with medical professionals regarding reducing pain while promoting engagement and independence.
Maintains good composure during emergencies.
Maintains a safe work environment.
Mandatory Live-Scan Clearance and TB test and CPR/AED certification are required upon job offer.
Must also have previous experience as a caregiver who is familiar with managing 20 plus residents within an 8hr shift.
Compensation is based on experience.
