Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description

This person understands the importance of meeting the needs of our residents while helping them maintain a high quality of life. We are looking for committed individuals who have good communication skills, as well as the ability to problem solve. If you have a heart for people, this is the job for you. Established in 2009, our locally-owned and operated assisted living memory care homes take care of 8 seniors with dementia and cognition challenges with two caregivers during the daytime and one awake overnight caregiver. Shifts are 12 hours. The house manager position is a combination of caregiving, management, and administrative roles. Qualifications: · Passionate about this field · Must have 5 years caregiving experience working with seniors · Dementia training and 2 years practical care giving experience with seniors with dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's strokes, traumatic brain injures · Must be QMAP Certified · Must have current First Aid/CPR Certification · Great communication skills both verbal and written · Strong people skills, able to relate and get along with everyone · Clean background check · Supervisory and employee training experience required · Reliable transportation and clean driver's license House Manager: ·Learn the unique company philosophy by going through a training program which depending upon your experience, accomplishments, willingness to learn, and capabilities prepares you to take on the house manager role. · Pay rate dependent on experience/background. Also included are health, life, vision dental insurance, a bonus program, and paid vacation. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations: COVID-19 protocols in place.
