E. A. Hawse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at our Baker, WV location. E. A. Hawse Nursing & Rehabilitation Center opened in 1985 and is a 60 person care center specializing in skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation to home, and long-term care services. E. A. Hawse Nursing & Rehabilitation Center received the 2014 Bronze National Quality Award from the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) Quality Award program. Position Summary CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant): To provide direct patient care to patients, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with facility policies and procedures and report patient needs and concerns to a licensed nurse. Complete documentation accurately and consistent with policies and procedures. Assure patients are given adequate assistance with meals, nourishment, and transportation. Respect the dignity and privacy or individuals are all times. Assist patients with activities of daily living. Present a positive image and accept the need for changes, be flexible, and demonstrate the enthusiasm toward enhancement. Education/Requirements: The Registered Long Term Care Nursing Assistant must have completed an approved nursing assistant program and must possess a current, unencumbered, active certification. Must possess and maintain current CPR certification, or acquire a CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
