Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
Certified Nursing Assistants are responsible for many patient care tasks to ensure that each patient receives the comprehensive and personalized care they need. You will have the following responsibilities, among others: Grooming and bathing patients with low mobility, and assisting them with ADLs Dressing, bathroom assistance, and changing briefs for incontinent residents Helping patients eat, making sure they have regular meals, passing trays during meal times, and picking up trays after meals Monitoring vitals and patient behavior and reporting them to the nursing and medical staff Assisting patients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to bed and back Turning or adjusting patients in bed to prevent skin problems or other discomfort Exercising patients by helping them walk Complete monthly continuing education training Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $16.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Physical setting: Long term care Nursing home Rehabilitation center Standard shift: Day shift Night shift Work Location: In person
