2nd Shift Nurse / OMT/ CMA - Full Time or Part Time

Shift Hours: 2nd Shift 2:00pm - 10:30pm **OPTION TO SET YOUR SCHEDULE TO WHAT DAYS YOU ARE WANTING TO WORK. ONLY REQUIREMENT IS EVERY OTHER WEEKEND** Job Description REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must be at least 21 years of age. Is an LPN, RN, OMT, MED AIDE Has completed a physical examination & willing to recieve the 2 step TB shot. RESPONSIBILITIES: Works on a full-time or part-time basis. Assists in admission and orientation of new residents. Supervises nursing assistants in performance of duties. Takes, records, and charts temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiration and physical assessment observations on a monthly basis. Administers medications according to established unit dose system procedures and physician orders. Evaluates effectiveness of all current medications in producing desired results and charts observations accordingly. Receives change of shift report and gives report to oncoming shift regarding status of all residents. Encourages resident activity and participation in facility events. Encourages resident to meet his/her nutritional and physical fitness needs. ALWAYS relates to residents in a positive way. Contacts nurse supervisor or administrator in case of emergency.
