Caregiver

Assist residents with activities of daily living Must help with bed making, residents personal hygiene and will be responsible for laundering/pressing residents clothing Will assist with residents meals by taking trays to the table, removing trays and monitoring residents nutritional requirements Assist with residents security and scheduled activities Will be responsible for medication management and administration that is ordered by their physician Ability to maintain proper documentation in the resident files Attend in-service education classes as scheduled Responsible for cleaning of the facilities; Bathrooms, kitchen and lounge areas Assist with resident transportation for medical appointments Ability to assess resident mental and physical status on a daily basis Knowledge of, and performance of daily responsibilities, according to DHEC Regulations 61-84 "Standards for Licensing Community Residential Care Facilities" and the policies and procedures of Davis Community Care Home Has Knowledge of all Disaster Plans for Davis Community Care Home and displays the ability to be responsible for the following appropriate actions Will be expected to work according to the facility's posted work schedule and be willing to assist when additional needs are identified Displays a positive attitude, willingness to assist all individuals, as well as respects the facility, residents, visitors and other staff members
