Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description
The Assistant Director of Nursing is responsible for providing assistance and supervision of the clinical care and services to residents in the skilled nursing operations in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and Northcrest Living Center policies in promotion of the highest degree of quality care and services to our residents. Oversees and directs staff in clinical nursing responsibilities to promote quality care and improved resident outcomes.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has overall supervisory responsibility for registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants, medication assistants and related personnel as directed by the Administrator and Director of Nursing.
Education and Experience Requirements :
Registered Professional Nursing License in Iowa or applicable compact license.
2 years of supervisory experience
2 years’ work experience as a Professional Nurse
FLSA Status: Exempt(Compensation commensurate on experience, education, and qualifications.)
