A pioneer in pediatric care, Ambassador Health established the region’s first pediatric post-acute unit designed to assist children recovering from an injury, illness, or complications from a premature birth. Ambassador Health Pediatrics provides intensive rehabilitative care to children ages newborn to 21 years of age with various complex medical needs. Pediatric patients that no longer require acute, hospital care, but are not yet stable enough to return home, will transition to Ambassador Health Pediatrics for additional nursing care, rehabilitation, family training and education.
