Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in Nebraska Job Position The primary purpose of your job position is to work with residents needing restorative nursing measures to gain or to maintain their highest, possible practical functional level in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan. Also responsible for providing consistency between therapists’ work and carry over by nursing on a daily basis, and as may be directed by the Restorative Nurse Coordinator. Provides direct restorative care and delegated formalized therapy tasks, as assigned completing work accurately, safely and in a timely manner. Specific care to include passive and active ROM, ambulation, special positioning techniques, splints, assistive feeding devices/adaptive equipment, ADL training, bowel and bladder management, restorative dining, and bladder retraining. Receives specific instructions from formalized therapies when the functions are beyond basic restorative nursing scope and receives supervision for these tasks from the indicated formalized therapy discipline.
