Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
As an in-home health PCA or CNA you will be responsible for providing care services as directed by the Plan of Care, as well as turning in, on time, accurate time tickets. The Plan of Care includes personal care of client (bathing, toileting, etc.), light housekeeping (sweeping, moping, dusting), meal preparation, as well as showing compassion and sensitivity to the emotional needs of the client, and other assigned duties as deemed necessary by agency. Aide will be required to record all care provided to the client on the appropriate documentation and turned into office weekly. Must be able to pass a background and drug screening, must be at least 18 years of age, and possess a current valid driver's license and have own transportation. Will be required to participate in twelve hours of in-services per year.
