The primary purpose of your job would be to provide nursing care to our residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with federal, state and local standard, guidelines and regulations that govern our facility, and as directed by the Director of Nursing or Executive Administrator to ensure our residents the highest quality of care.
As a nurse in charge of your shift, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary to ensure your staff are providing the highest level of care. Make sure our residents are treated better than our families!
