Requirements: Valid Ohio LPN license
Some of the job duties include:
1) passing medications and providing prescribed treatments to our residents
2) Proficiency with electronic charting and documentation.
3) Responsible for directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with the regulations that govern long-term care.
4) Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers of residents as necessary.
5) Coordinate with other departments to ensure that the residents' total regimen of care is maintained.
6) Communicate with physicians' offices as necessary
7) Ability to have patience, tact and compassion when dealing with residents, families and other staff.
