Home Health Aide (HHA)/CNA

Medicare Certified Home Healthcare Agency, Horizons Healthcare Services, is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant/ CNA for a full-time opportunity to perform home health visits in the Loudoun/Fairfax County area for adults and geriatric clients. Responsibilities: - Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming - Provide companionship and emotional support to patients - Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature - Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and organizing - Help with meal preparation and feeding - Follow all HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans Requirements: - Previous experience in senior care, working with people with developmental disabilities, or home care is preferred - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families - Knowledge of patient care techniques and procedures - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality - Ability to take accurate vital signs and monitor patient health - Compassionate and empathetic nature -Have successfully completed a recognized Home Health Aide training course and be certified to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant/ CNA by the state of Virginia Benefits: - Competitive pay rates - Flexible scheduling options - Ongoing training and professional development opportunities - Supportive work environment If you are passionate about providing high-quality care to individuals in need, we encourage you to apply for the position of Home Health Aide.
