The work involves responsibility for professional nursing duties in relation to the care of residents in a long term care facility. Work is performed in accordance with established policies, procedures and the current accepted standards of nursing practice under the general supervision of a Nursing Care Manager or Nursing Care Supervisor. Supervision is exercised over a number of Licensed Practical Nurses, Senior Nursing Assistants and Nursing Assistants. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Possession of a license and current registration issued by the New York State Education Department, to practice as a registered professional nurse*. *Must maintain registration in good standing in order to remain in position.
