Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
Home care CNA job description: -Follow specific written and verbal instructions regarding client care duties, following client care plan -Immediately report and record changes in client condition, family situation, or needs to Supervisor -Provide laundry services and light housekeeping -Assist with preparation or pick-up of meals -Monitor diet and nutritional status -Provide assistance with eating, grooming dressing, mobility (walking), toileting and incontinence care, and with transferring -Provide assistance with communication and correspondence by phone or mail -Provide assistance with maintaining schedule and calendar -Escort for appointments on and off campus -Provide assistance with hobbies and interests -Perform other related duties as directed by Home Care Services Nurse Supervisor Requirements: -Certified Nursing Assistant -Be in good standing on NC Nurse Aide Registry -Have a high school diploma/ GED equivalent -1+ years’ experience or specialized training -Exhibit a positive attitude and commitment to quality client care -Work every other weekend -Work 2 holidays out of the year
