Who We Need: We are currently hiring full-time, part-time, weekends only, and on-call Home Health Care Aides for the Upstate Community. Our ideal candidate demonstrates compassion in the face of adversity, enjoys a variety of work environments, is able to socialize with clients, and provide assistance with daily living activities. What You Will Do: Household Care: Meal Preparation, Light Housekeeping, Laundry Services, Linen Changes, Shopping Personal Care: Personal Hygiene & Grooming, Dressing Assistance, Prescription Pickups, Medication Reminders, Incontinent Care Other Care: Companionship, Transportation Services, Appointment Arranging What You Will Need to Qualify: Must have experience providing in-home care for seniors CNA’s preferred - but not required Must show the ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions. Must have a valid South Carolina driver's license, access to reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance Other Requirements: Ability to communicate with clients and remain calm under stress. Ability to read and write in English. Physical ability to lift and transfer clients Ability to safely drive a car As part of our commitment to excellent care, all of our candidates must be willing to submit to a drug test and criminal background check. COVID-19 considerations: All applicants are required to wear masks upon entering our office. PPE’s are provided for all employees with direct client contact.
