Per Diem Hospice CNA/HHA

Omni Care Hospice is looking for Home Health Aides/CNAs to join our growing teams! Our agencies are family owned and operated and are looking to add employees who value a family-like atmosphere that is always putting patient care first. This position allows for flexibility. Requirements of Qualified Candidates: - Currently licensed to practice as a CNA in the State of Nevada - Preferred to have at least one (1) year experience as a CNA in Home Health/Hospice - Must possess and maintain valid CPR certification - Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order - Must have open availability to be considered for the position. Minimum of three days - Must provide record of Covid-19 vaccine OR a valid exemption Job Responsibilities include but not limited to: - Being an active member of an interdisciplinary team (IDT) for the patient - Following a plan of care - Grooming and bathing patients with low mobility - Managing and dispensing medical supplies to patients - Monitoring status of patient and patient behavior and reporting them to a case manager - Assisting patients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to bed - Turning or adjusting patients in bed to prevent bedsores or other discomfort
