Certified Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aide KAY’S PRIVATE HOME CARE Is actively seeking CNA/HHA a caring and experienced home care professional to join our home care team. This person must also be willing to contribute to the quality atmosphere and culture with Kay’s Private Home Care. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assisting clients in all activities of daily living. Communicating and documenting (charts) treatment provided to clients and the clients' response or lack of response to care provided. Contributing to the development of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each client. Maintaining confidentiality and rights of client, family, employee, and organization information in compliance with HIPAA policies and applicable regulations. Maintaining a safe work environment and exhibiting safe work practices. Interacting cooperatively with clients, families, visitors and other team members. Performing all duties in compliance with all applicable federal and state rules and regulations and facility policies and procedures. Accepting assigned duties in a cooperative manner and willingly perform other duties as assigned by appropriate personnel. REQUIREMENTS: Active Florida CNA/HHA License. HHA Certificate --MUST have curriculum on back Must have at least 2 full years of CNA/HHA experience preferably in home care. Home health experience necessary, CNA experience preferred with knowledge of common medical terminology. Current Physical done within 6 months of date of hire- must include Chest X-Ray and/or PPD test, and stating Free of Communicable Diseases Current BLS CPR card by American Heart Association Alzheimer's Original 4 hours certificate AND 2 hours update (If original is expired) HIV/AIDS Original 3 hours certificate AND 2 hours update (If original is expired) OSHA 2 hours update HIPAA Elder Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation Level 2 Background Screening Automobile Insurance Valid Driver's License Proof of Employment Status Social Security Card Resume References ( 2 or more ) Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract License: CNA (Preferred) HHA (Required) Home Care Experience: 2 years experience
