Big Bonuses: $750 Sign-on bonus for CNA’s $3,000 Sign-on bonus for Dementia Care CNA’s (Based on FTE) Paid Training & Certification: Cares Dementia Certification training provided Community-Based Residential Facility (CBRF) Certification training provided Extra Cash: Earn shift differentials from $0.50 to $3.00 per hour depending on shift Earn additional pay incentives up to $5/hour for picking up additional, non-scheduled shifts What You’ll Do: As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with St. Croix County, you’ll be at the heart of resident care, ensuring they feel comfortable, supported, and cared for every day. You’ll assist with daily activities, provide emotional and social support, and help maintain a safe, positive environment for everyone. Key Responsibilities: - Assist residents with personal care like bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing. - Help residents move around, whether it’s getting out of bed or walking to activities. - Serve meals and make sure residents are staying healthy and hydrated. - Keep records of care, vital signs, and daily activities. - Respond to resident emergencies. - Be there for residents – whether it’s a chat, a laugh, or just listening. Minimum Requirements: - At least 16 years old - CNA Training Courses are available through St. Croix County. - Completion of CBRF training programs upon hire. - Able to pass a criminal and caregiver background check. - If interested in Dementia Care, must complete Dementia Care training and receive Cares Dementia Certification upon hire.
