2nd shift (130p-930p) part-time (24 hours) & full-time (32 hours) 3rd shift (930p-530a) part-time (24 hours) & full-time (32 hours) average of 20 hours a week or more, is benefit eligible New base rate $17 (.50 shift differential) $3 more for off weekend/12 hour shift Benefits for Full Time Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A.'s): Medical/Dental/Vision-60 days* (no cost health insurance)* Short Term Disability-90 days Vacation after one year- full time 80 hours Sick Time- after 90 days (CT Paid Sick Leave) Personal Time-after one year- full time 2 days 10 Paid Holidays + Birthday Pension Fund Contribution SCHEDULES ARE EVERY OTHER WEEKEND, ROTATING HOLIDAY SCHEDULE, OVERTIME OFFERED, 12 HOUR SHIFTS OFFERED, 8 HOUR STANDARD SHIFTS ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES: 1. Assists residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) based on their individualized plan of care in accordance with the state and federal regulations and facility policies and procedures. 2. Make beds (occupied and unoccupied) and change bed linens. 3. Keep incontinent residents clean and dry per policy and resident care plan. 4. Assist residents in preparing for activity and social programs (i.e. church services, parties, Visitors, etc) 5. Assists in transporting residents to / from appointments, activity and social programs, etc as necessary. 6. Performs restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed. 7. Measures and records temperatures, pulse, respirations (TPRs), as instructed. 8. Answers resident calls promptly and ensures that resident who are unable to call for help are checked frequently. 9. Informs the Licensed Nurse of any changes in resident’s condition.
