Hospice East Bay will pay for you to get your CNA/HHA certification

HEB is looking for a HHA or CNA that is passionate about our patients, their families, and the community we serve. Don’t have your CNA or HHA, we will help you get it! Plus, a $1,000 sign on bonus. Essential Functions • Provide personal care as directed by the hospice nurse • Completes each patient' care as delineated in the Home Health Aide care plan • Maintains a safe and clean environment through care of the patient's room and personal equipment and perform light housekeeping duties • Prepares and serves meals as instructed by the hospice nurse • Participates in in-services and skills training to ensure compliance state and federal regulations, as well as accreditation standards • Reports any changes in the patient's physical or emotional condition, including complaints of pain or change in the family's situation to the RN • Document daily activity and of direct care provided to the patient per HEB requirements. • Recognize and report emergencies • As assigned and supervised by the hospice RN, assists the patient with activities which include • Maintain comfortable environment.
